The charitable arm of the global logistics company UPS announced that it gifted VCF a grant of US$30,000 to fund the “UPS, Heartbeat of Vietnam” program.
The program supports underprivileged children with congenital heart diseases through pre-operation care, open-heart surgery and post-operation follow-up care.
In addition, a grant of US$26,750 has been awarded to Room To Read (RTR), an organization which aims to bring educational opportunities to disadvantaged children. The grant will be used to furnish three libraries with new children’s books, educational material and to provide inclusive learning environments.
