PANO – An art exhibition, jointly organized by the Hanoi University of Culture and the Naresuan University (Thailand), was opened at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum in Hanoi on October 1st.
The 7-day exhibition, entitled “Viet-Thai Art Exchange”, displays works by 15 Vietnamese and 13 Thai artists in different styles, such as abstract art, realism and surrealism, and in various materials, including oil, lacquer, watercolour and pottery.
The event is part of an art exchange program between artists from Thailand and Vietnam’s Asia Art Link group in 2013. The program with various activities, such as seminars and exhibitions, aims to create an opportunity for artists to introduce their works to people in the two countries.
In Thailand, the program took place on July 2013 at the Institute of Mekong-Salween Civilization Studies under the Naresuan University in Phisanulok province.
