Da Lat Flower Festival 2013 is scheduled to take place from December 27 to 31, 2013 in Da Lat City and Lac Duong district, Lam Dong province.
The organisers said the Da Lat Flower Festival 2013 is set in the spaces of Central Highlands Colour and Perfume, Beautiful Garden (Xuan Huong Lake), Flower Exhibition at City Flower Garden, Da Lat Flower Fair (Nguyen Van Cu Street) and activities in two Van Thanh and Thai Phien flower villages.
A new feature of this flower exhibition is the display of miniature of Truong Sa Islands rock, which is expected to boost the knowledge of Truong Sa and the sovereignty of Vietnamese seas and islands. The miniature of Truong Sa Islands and sovereignty milestones is made from rock and adorned with poinsettia flowers. In particular, red poinsettia flowers shape the flag sheet and yellow poinsettia flowers shape the golden star, both making the national flag which stands out in the forest of flowers.
Visitors not only explore the charm of flowers but also learn about local cultural identities.
