(CPV) – The first International Dance Festival will kick off in Ho Chi Minh city (HCMC) on November 20 – 21.
The festival will draw the participation of choreographers and dancers from Italy, Japan and the Republic of Korea. This festival includes three workshops and two night shows at HCMC Opera House.
Workshops on the art featuring choreographers Claudio Malangone, Kaiji Moriyama and Sungyong Kim will be held at Le Thanh Theater, 25 Phan Phu Tien, district 5 on November 16, 17 and 22.
Two main performances, which feature a variety of contemporary dances, are set to take place at HCMC Opera House on November 20 – 21.
The festival aims to bring dance art in general and contemporary dance art closer to Vietnamese audiences who have interest in the art.
Arabesque dance company from the HCMC Opera House has continuously sought opportunities to study and exchange professionalism with choreographers and dancers in Vietnam and overseas, in order to improve techniques./.
