On 20 November in Hanoi, Information Technology Agency (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) in collaboration with Fujitsu company held a seminar to introduce land information and real estate registration system in Japan.
Earlier, September 2013 in Tokyo (Japan), Information Technology Agency and Fujitsu company signed a memorandum of cooperation on the development and application of information technology in the field of natural resources and environment. Tthe two sides agreed to give priority in the field of land management in the first phase.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Chinh, director of Information Technology Agency said that the reason to prioritize land management was that Vietnam needed to build a complete data base. Building a database of land is one of the strengths of Fujitsu company. Up to now, studying the situation, and giving out idea of database systems are being actively implemented between the two sides. The successful application in the field of land will make a good premise for the application of other fields.
Through the seminar, an overview of lessons learned, experiences and successes in the Japanese IT applications to handle issues related to land data management, estate and the similarities and differences in comparison with the land information management in Vietnam have been presented. Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Linh Ngoc appreciated the cooperation between the IT Agency and Fujitsu in the last time. Accordingly, it will contribute to the successful implementation of IT development applications strategy in the field of natural resources and environment to 2015 and orientation to 2020.
