Vietnamese modern short stories published in China

As many of 22 Vietnamese modern short stories by 21 Vietnamese writers, translated by Tian Xiao Hua, have been published in China.


The information was released at a press briefing at the Office of the Vietnamese Writers’ Association in Hanoi.


Right after publication, the book received special attention from researchers, especially students in universities. Several stories were reprinted in literature journals and magazines.


The book was considered as a bridge in literature between Vietnam and China, showing the deep sentiment to translator Tian Xiao Hua for Vietnamese literature, and the beauty and deep culture of the Vietnamese land and people.


A representative from the Vietnamese Writers’ Association presented translator Tian Xiao Hua a certificate of merit for his great contribution in introducing Vietnamese literature in China over the past time./.
