The information was unveiled at the British Council’s review meeting in 2013 on Monday in Hanoi. Eldon Pascoe, Director Professional and Teacher Development at British Council, said that this is a flexible test with 15 solution packages that is dependent on demands and strategies of each business.
Aptis was released last year and brought to Vietnam earlier this year. However, already many businesses and universities have shown interest in the program, Pascoe added.
Aptis is expected to be used widely like other popular tests such as IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC.
Contestants can access online tests via mobile phones, computers, tablets and other handy devices. The results will be given within 48 hours.
Vietjet Air and FPT use Aptis to test their staff’s English skills.
