PANO – The Southeast Asia Museum, part of the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, was unveiled on November 30th in Hanoi after 6 years of construction, with the aim at bringing the cultures of the Southeast Asian countries together.
The 4-story building, named “Kitewing”, will display exhibits and photos, maps, articles and videos, reflecting the cultures, religions and arts of the Southeast Asia countries, as well as their peoples’ daily lives.
On the occasion, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology opened an exhibition, “Southeast Asia Culture”, and organised various activities to help visitors learn more about cultures of the Southeast Asian countries.
The museum opened for visitors from December 1st.
