Three firms delist in May on heavy losses

HA NOI (VNS)— Three companies will have to delist shares from the HCM City Stock Exchange, including Meca Vneco Investment And Electricity Construction (VES), International Foods (IFS) and South Vietnam Container Shipping (VSG).


VSG and IFS had accumulated losses of VND140.7 billion (US$6.7 million) and VND495.7 billion ($23.6 million) respectively, exceeding their charter capital. VES will delist due to consecutive losses during the past three years.


The delisting will be effective for these three stocks from May 3. — VNS
