Three killed in votive paper maker’s house

HCM CITY (VNS)– Three people were killed and two injured by a fire in a house selling incense and votive papers in HCM City’s District 11 last night.

The fire broke out on the ground floor of the three-story house, which was locked from inside, around 10.30 pm last night, according to witnesses.

About 100 firemen were sent to the site, who succeeded in extinguishing the blaze by 2.30am.

Police have yet to identify the cause of the fire.–VNS.
