HA NOI (VNS)— Viet Nam hopes to boost co-operation with Ukraine in enhancing the capacity of public security officials in the fight against international crime, especially crime rings using advanced technology.
The statement was made by Minister of Public Security General Tran Dai Quang when receiving a delegation from the Ukrainian external security service led by Vice Director Lieutenant-General S. Sergey Ivanovich, in Ha Noi yesterday.
For his part, Ivanovich expressed his pleasure at the fine friendship and co-operation between the two Governments, peoples and public security agencies, which, he hoped, would be further intensified in a deeper and more effective manner in the coming time.-VNS
