The 9th Lawrence S.Ting charity walk which ended at Ho Ban Nguyet (Crescent Lake) in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7 on January 11 collected around VND2.7 billion for disadvantaged people.
The 4th Lawrence S.Ting charity walk is organized in 2009.
About 14,000 people participated in the annual walk to raise money for the poor as part of the celebrations for Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).
The Lawrence S.Ting Charity Walk donated more than VND14 billion to the poor in Ho Chi Minh City during the last eight years.
