Ca Mau province inaugurated President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House with total area of 62.200 square meters located at Ward 1 in Ca Mau city on January 5.
President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House includes worship space, gallery, cinema, alleys, lotus ponds, fish ponds and a number of other spaces.
Ca Mau people built a house in order to worship and memory President Ho Chi Minh after they received the information about dead of Uncle Ho. However, the memorial house was officially built by Party Community, authorities and people in Ca Mau province in 1994.
All architecture of the memorial house was designed as a style of house on stilts, where president Ho Chi Minh ever lived in Hanoi.
Spending 17 years, the memorial house has been downgraded therefore Ca Mau authorities decided to reconstruct in 2011 at Ward 1 of Ca Mau City with total area of 62.200 square meters.
At the inauguration ceremony, Ca Mau province launched patriotic emulation movement to implement the call of Uncle Ho ‘emulation is patriotism, patriots must emulate, the emulators are the most patriotic people’.
