(CPV) - “The light of life” enterprise has been established and put into operation in My Xuan commune, Tan Thanh district, with the guideline of creating jobs for people living with HIV when they are still healthy.
This is the first business in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province established by members of a self-relief networkwith the aim of creating jobs and economic opportunities for people living with HIV to help them stabilize their lives, reduce the risk of HIV transmission and integrate into the community.
Its forerunner is “The light of life” club, operating in the field of taking care of, maintaining landscape of works in the locality; trading construction material and equipment; trading food and foodstuff; doing housework and loading and uploading commodities.
The enterprise has more than 10 workers and it is actively conducting its plan and marketing its services to individuals and businesses. Right after the Lunar New Year 2014, the first members of the enterprise will begin offering services to help them have stable income and integrate into the community.
Health, family circumstances and illness complex are still barriers, preventing integration and affirmation of themselves of people living with HIV and drug addiction. Therefore, they are in need of sharing and support of organizations, communities and society.
The establishment of private enterprise “The light of life” is gradually creating jobs, rekindling confidence and allowing people living with HIV to make a new life and integrate into the community./.
