More than 11,000 automobiles were sold in January, including 8,326 cars and 2,740 trucks, according to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA).

CBU automobiles were mainly imported from the Republic of Korea (1,330 units), India (471), Thailand (338), China (293) and Japan (289).

January’s sales declined slightly compared to the previous month but still increased compared to last year’s corresponding same period with a 30% increase in car and 7 % in truck.
