Ba Be Tourism Site Construction Planning to 2030 Announced

The People’s Committee of Bac Kan Province recently announced the approval of the Ba Be Tourism Site Construction Planning to 2020, with a vision to 2030.


Accordingly, this will be a national tourist site belonging to the Vietnam Tourism Master Plan and a unique cultural site of Northwest Vietnam.


The planning aims to develop Ba Be into a top ecological tourism site in Vietnam, formulate a Miracle of Ba Be (miracle of nature, miracle of residence, and miracle of human), set up an overall outdoor museum, and provide experiences and services for tourists. The Ba Be tourism site covers 28,337 ha. When put into service, it will employ about 1,650 workers.


By 2030, the Ba Be tourism site is expected to serve 300,000-1,000,000 visitors a year. The planning also aims to combine ecological tourism and spiritual tourism based on legends of Hua Ma Cave, An Ma Temple, Dau Dang Waterfall, Puong Cave and Ba Goa Island. The planning also completes traffic routes to develop the tourism industry in the region, including Na Hang tourism site in Tuyen Quang province and Dinh Hoa and Den Buom safety zones in Thai Nguyen province.
