(VOVworld) – Egypt’s national TV reported on Saturday that the trial of ousted President Mohamed Morsi and 130 other defendants on charges of prison break in 2011 will be removed to Monday.
Mr. Morsi has to stand trial on charges of attacking Wady Al Natroun prison and taking hostage and killing police officers during the 2011 uprising. He will face another three trials with accusations of inciting violence, killing protesters in December, 2012, espionage and supporting terrorist acts.
He may face the death penalty or life imprisonmentif found guilty.
