(Cinet)- A “Festival of India” will be organised in Vietnam from March 5-15, with the aim of introducing the rich and vibrant Indian culture.
Audiences will have the chance to enjoy traditional dances, recognised by the UNESCO as world heritage, yoga performances and re-enactments of Buddhist rituals as well the country’s cuisine.
The festival will take place in the three major cities of Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh.
Indian Ambassador Preeti Saran expressed her hope that through the festival, Vietnamese people would come to understand more about Indian customs and its traditional culture. She said the event would help to foster the two countries’ friendship and cooperation.
