According to Tran Anh Tuan, deputy director of Ho Chi Minh city’s Centre for Human Resource Forecasts and Labour Information, surveys on 1,016 enterprises in need of recruiting labourers showed that the city labour supply-demand market in March would focus on recruiting trained labourers.
Moreover, a greater number of labourers will be employed in the business – sales, information and technology, services, textile and garment, leather shoes, customer service, mechanics and automation sectors.
Mr. Tuan stressed the recruitment of experienced and trained labourers in the leather shoe sector, as since the beginning of the year, enterprises have inked a variety of new contracts.
However, Nguyen Thanh Tung, director of the centre on job introduction to export processing and industrial zones, said that among 270,000 labourers working in export processing and industrial zones, 70-80% of labourers satisfied recruiters’ demand in terms of trained labourers./.
