A national meeting marking the United Nation’s 2014 World Water Day will be held in the northern province of Lai Chau on March 22, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
The event includes a seminar about “Water and Energy”, a photo exhibition titled “Water-People-Life”, art performances and more.
This year’s event aims to raise public awareness of the close relationship between two elements, seek management methods ensuring economic growth and meet demand through sustainable harvest of water resources and efficient use of energy towards a growing green economy.
