VN takes lead in exporting cashew in 8 years

VGP – Vietnamese businesses exported 264,000 tons of cashew in 2013, gaining US$1.66 billion.


The US, China and the Netherlands are the biggest importers of Viet Nam’s cashew. This is the eight successive years Viet Nam surpassed India to become the largest cashew exporter.


In 2014, the Southeast Asian country expects to raise the export value to US$2 billion.
