The Provincial Study Encouragement Association has recently held a meeting to summarize study encouragement achievements in 2013.
Last year, the Association mobilized more than 41.4 billion VND, an increase of 27.5% compared to the year plan. There were nearly 133,350 scholarship awards worth over VND 28.7 billion given to deserving students. Besides, the Association actively cooperated with local agencies, organizations, families in raising funds and contributing materials to build schools with the amount of over VND 47 billion.
On this occasion, the Provincial People’s Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Provincial Study Encouragement Associationhonored and awarded 111 individuals and groups the “For Study Encouragement” medals for their great contribution to the provincial study encouragement in 2013.
