(VOVworld) – China’s 12th National People’s Congress concluded its second annual session on Thursday in Beijing with the participation of 2,906 delegations.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said the Chinese government will continue to promote reforms of open-door policies and elevate its role in international issues. The Premier said that in 2014 China needs to maintain its economy and scale up the fight against corruption. He said China with a population of more than 1.3 billion, needs a stable and peaceful domestic and international environment to assure development for its people.
