Nghia Ky commune people received cows



​On 25 February 2014, the Quang Ngai provincial Red Cross in collaboration with Nghia Hanh district People’s Committee held the meeting to allocate cows to the poor households affected by the historical flood in November 2013.


​Reportedly, 10 cows worth over VND 100 million were gifted by the State President Truong Tan Sang – the honorary Chairman of the Vietnam Red Cross, taken from the humanitarian Fund of the Vietnam Red Cross to 10 poor households in Hanh Tin Tay commune of the Nghia Hanh district.


Earlier, the provincial Red Cross also collaborated with Nghia Ky commune authority, Tu Nghia district to allocate 10 cows donated by Mr. Truong Tan Sang to 10 families in 02 hamlets of Xuan Pho Tay and Xuan Pho Dong, Nghia Ky commune.


The very meaningful gift helped the poor who met difficulties in their lives in two mentioned districts to have opportunities to stabilize their daily life and develop economy.
