PANO – The war has been ended for years, but its serious consequences still affect former Vietnamese soldiers who took part in the resistance war for national independence.
All war invalids and sick soldiers under treatment at Thuan Thanh War-Invalids Treatment and Convalesce Centre have been doing their utmost to overcome difficulties.
Established on April 3rd, 1965, Thuan Thanh War-Invalids Treatment and Convalescence Centre is now providing healthcare and treatment for 96 seriously wounded and sick soldiers. 90% of them have to use wheelchairs.
PANO would like to introduce some photos reflecting the daily lives of these former soldiers.
