Ambassador Chinh expressed his hope that the Haifa council will support the honourable consul in meeting his task to foster economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.

Igal Ahouvi has invested approximately US$300 million in a resort in Vietnam’s Khanh Hoa province.

Vietnam has become an attractive destination for not only Israeli visitors but also investors with increasing numbers of projects.

Two-way trade turnover has increased rapidly over recent years. It hit more than US$600 million in 2013, an annual increase of 37.9%, of which Vietnam’s exports made up two-thirds.

Both countries have cooperated well in many fields, such as agriculture, telecommunications, science and technology, and industry.
