Nhan Dan Online – Domestic prices of retail petrol were raised by VND180 per litre at 12pm today, bringing the price per litre of RON 92 to VND24,690 and the price of RON 95 to VND25,190.
Diesel prices were increased by VND70 per litre, with 0.05S diesel now priced at VND22,840.
The increases fall within the range set by the Ministries of Finance and Industry and Trade, which stipulated that diesel and petrol prices could be increased by between VND71 and VND189 per litre.
The ministries ordered petrol companies to cease use of the Price Stabilisation Fund for kerosene and diesel, though the fund continues to subsidise petrol at a rate of VND300 per litre.
This is the second price increase so far in 2014. On February 21, the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene and fuel oil were raised by VND300, VND240, VND230 and VND200 per litre.
