PANO – The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held an exchange with relatives of martyrs and veterans who joined the fighting on March 14th 1988 on Gac Ma island, Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago, Khanh Hoa province.
It also launched the “Sentiment towards Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa archipelagos” campaign to mobilize money from organizations and individuals at home and abroad to build a monument to commemorate the sacrifice of 64 naval soldiers in action, and give financial assistance to their families in need.
During the ceremony, the organization panel got nearly VND 600 million.
