Since STF started the project in 2010, the non-profit organization has teamed up with enterprises to donate 265 used computers and four IT devices to primary schools in different parts of the country. Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam alone has donated 197 secondhand computers to the project while CSC Vietnam Company, Hogan Lovell International LLP and Victoria Cantho Resort have given 68 used commuters and four pieces of IT equipment.
Thai My Chau, principal of Phu Huu Primary School, said these 16 computers would help 510 students study once a week for grades 1 and 2 and twice a week for the third, fourth and fifth grades.
