Resettlement areas belonging to Ha Nang hydropower project
Chairman of the PPC has just decided to allocate the supplementary capital of the province’s budget for Tra Bong district to implement the agricultural resettlement works, ensuring daily life and production of local people in Ha Nang hydropower project’s areas in Tra Thuy commune, Tra Bong district.
Accordingly, the fund will be used to invest the traffic and lighting works for people at resettlement areas with the total amount of VND 15 billion.
For the other important works including improving farming land for people’s production and investing irrigation works in Ha Nang, Chairman asked Tra Bong district People’s Committee to set up investment project using capital from Program 30a and other integrated projects in the district.
Ha Nang hydropower project which is situated in Tra Thuy commune, Tra Bong district is invested by Thien Tan Investment – Construction Joint Stock Company with the total investment of VND 237 billion. It has the capacity of 11 MW.
In order to implement this project, 130 households with 500 people had to move to resettlement areas in hamlet 1 and 4. The living conditions in resettlement areas are still in difficulties with no national electricity system, traffic roads, farming land, etc.
