PANO – The Vietnamese Ministry of National Defence is ready to share and support the Cambodian Ministries of National Defence and Home Affairs in the fields which Vietnam has strength.
Vietnamese Defence Minister General Phung Quang Thanh stated that at a reception to the visiting Minister of State of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Em Sam An, on March 12th at the Ministry’s Headquarters.
Both the host and the guest recalled the fruitful tradition of Vietnam and Cambodia in the fight for national salvation and cooperation in national construction.
General Thanh stressed that Vietnam and Cambodia should beef up solidarity to help protect the achievements of the revolution of each country, considering it the biggest goal for the two peoples’ life of peace, friendship, cooperation and joint development.
For his part, Mr. Em Sam An expressed gratitude to the Vietnamese Ministry’s great support to the Cambodian Ministry of Home Affairs, especially in training on information technology for its officials.
The Cambodian guest shared his hope that in the time to come, the two ministries would continue the exchange of information of mutual concerns and enhance training cooperation and delegation exchanges.
