Quang Ninh provincial Department of Education and Training has held a conference to review three years of implementing the Vietnamese preparation programme for ethnic children at preschools.
There are 14 districts, towns and cities in the province with 567 preschools. Eight out of the 14 units have carried out the Vietnamese preparation programme for children at preschools in ethnic-inhabited areas.
After three years of implementing the programme, preschools in ethnic-inhabited areas have helped ethnic children understand Vietnamese words and use them in daily communication.Preschools have applied Vietnamese preparation teaching methods to suit the awareness and ability of children, creating favourable conditions for the children’s language development.
Since 2010, Quang Ninh province has invested over VND600 billion in school facilities, equipment and learning tools in preschools, improving the number of preschools meeting national standards to 121 schools./.
