PANO – The military-run telecom group Viettel, in association with the provincial Committee for Ethnic Minorities Affairs and People’s Committee, will hold a cultural festival, “Spring in the Northwest region”, in tourist town of Sapa, Lao Cai province, on April 5th and 6th.

Local people and visitors will enjoy many activities, such as shows of traditional costumes, folk games, traditional cuisines of ethnic minority groups in the Northwest region, and a special artistic performance.
They also have an opportunity to experience Viettel’s telecom services and products.
In addition, Viettel will work with a delegation of doctors from Viet Duc Hospital to provide free health check-ups and medicines for ethnic minority people in Lao Cai province.
The two-day festival is to boost solidarity among ethnic minority groups in the region, and promote their traditional identities and indigenous cultures to domestic and international friends.
