The Eastern fashion show was brought together by hundreds of Vietnamese models and designers to promote traditional and royal outfits from Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Mongolia, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. The show, known officially as “Eastern Nights,” was scheduled to be held April 13, 15, 16 and 18 as part of the ongoing biennial Hue Festival, which will end April 20.
