According to the police, the officers were on patrol when they found Quy breaking the lock of a Honda Air Blade parked in front of a house.

Quy attempted to flee on the stolen bike, but after a 300-meter chase the officers caught up and knocked down his motorbike.

Quy took out a knife and stabbed the officers, but he was soon overpowered and arrested.

Quy later told the police that an accomplice named Ky joined him in the thievery, but he ran away on their motorbike when police busted Quy.
