Ho Chi Minh City has sold 93,632 state-owned houses accounting for 98.14 percent of target plan, said Do Phi Hung, deputy director of the city’s Department of Construction on April 26.
He was speaking at a conference to review the sale of state-owned houses according to Government’s Decree 61/CP which was issued in 1994.
HCMC has 102,396 state owned houses which ranks the second nationwide after Hanoi.
Of these, 5,143 are villas and 97,253 are houses and apartments, concentrating in Binh Thanh, 1, 3, 5, 10 Districts.
