Over 500 children in the Phu Luong commune of the Lac Son district in the northern province of Hoa Binh will have a chance to study in a clean, spacious environment thanks to the project to build a new pre-school.

The construction of Phu Luong communal pre-school started in September, 2013. The project was partially sponsored by the Geos and Subsea Services Company Ltd. (PTSC – GS) under the Petro Vietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC).
Phu Luong commune is extremely disadvantaged due to geographical remoteness. Of the 8,632 people who live in the province, almost half live in poverty. People in the commune live a difficult life because they rely mainly on agricultural production. Due to the high poverty race, there are a lack of pre-schools for children.
The support from PTSC – GS provided a valuable present for the commune. PTSC – GS specializes in sea study and helps in the nation’s search for oil and gas resources and the maintenance of the nation’s sovereignty at sea./.
