Mercedes-Benz Vietnam has officially introduced the totally new 4-door coupe CLA-Class with the theme “Untamed“. The price of the car varies from 1.45 to 2.089 billion VND with 3 different versions in Vietnam.
The premiere of CLA-Class was quite packed and modern, portraying a daring and liberal image of Mercedes-Benz with contemporary arts such as graffiti, body painting, skateboarding and interesting dancing.. With the “Untamed” theme, the CLA-Class will be a “Declaration of Style” for successful young customers who have passion with arts and seek a free and liberal life.

People come here not only to admire the new car, they come here also to enjoy those interesting activities that go with it. Through that, they can express all their passion, their active instinct and also find similarities between themselves and CLA-Class.”
CLA-Class is a sedan in the form of a sport coupe, thus possesses an elegant style yet muscular. CLA 45 AMG has its length x width x height to be 4.691 x 1.777 x 1.416 mm respectively. The hood with 4 lines and LED contour in the Bi-xenon headlights portray CLA-Class’s powerful image.
The car’s body impresses viewer the most with its magnificent curves. The first curve bends back from the front to the back creating a coupe-style door for CLA-Class. The rear is designed to emphasize the width of the car with trapezoidal rear bumper and a sexy curve embedded on the luggage compartment lid. The tail light is designed to synchronize with the body’s curves and the square rear bumper. A wing-shaped LED contour is CLA-Class iconic characteristic when looked from behind. The dual exhaust pipes and diffuser plate bring a somewhat strong look for the car.

The sport-style seats of CLA is not only fashionable but also help balance passenger when the car corners at high speed. The rear seat row is flattened on the sides to create the most comfortable space for passenger. The phablet-looking multimedia screen proves its user-friendliness very well. CLA-Class allow its passenger to gain access to internet connection right in the car.
The CLA 200 version is equipped with an 1.6L I4 engine that can produce a maximum capacity of 156 HP at 5.300 rpm and a torque of 250Nm at 2.500 – 4.000rpm. With its 7-speed, dual-clutch transmission 7G-DCT, the car can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 8.5 seconds before reaching a maximum of 230km/h. More impressively, that speed is achieved with just an announced fuel consumption of 5.2-5.5 liter/100km while the tank’s capacity can reach 50 liters.
CLA 250 4MATIC owns a high performance 2.0L engine that can produce 211HP at 5.500rpm and 350Nm in torque at 1.200 – 4.000rpm. CLA 250 4MATIC is equipped with the 4MATIC 4-wheel drive system and the 7-speed, dual-clutch transmission 7G-DCT, resulting in smooth gear shifting. The raw weight of the version is at 1.480kg. CLA 250 4MATIC can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 6.7 seconds and consumes around 6 liters of petrol for 100km. CLA 250 AMG is also equipped with a Diamond Grille, an 18-inch AMG rim set with 5 twin-spoke and AMG bodykit.
The more luxury car – CLA 45 AMG is equipped with a 360HP, 450Nm 4-cylinder engine that can bring the car speed from 0 to 100km/h in just a mere 4.6 seconds, equal to the sporty V8 models on the market. With a 4MATIC 4-wheel drive, the car gets a better road adhesion and transfers the power from the engine to the road surface more effectively. The sporty suspension with 5mm lower in the front and 10mm lower in the rear balances the car very well at high speed.

The car features many technologies, such as the electrical-mechanical power steering Direct Steer capable of balancing the steering wheel when the car skids. As the car owns an electrical brake, you can just fasten the seat belt, shift the gear and press the gas pedal and the brake will be disabled automatically. The anti-lock braking system ABS, the electronic stability program ESP, the emergency brake assist BAS, the acceleration skid control ASR, ATTENTION ASSIST, Active Parking Assist… all of them can be found in this car.
Mercedes-Benz distributes CLA-Class in Vietnam with 3 of its versions CLA 200, CLA 250 4MATIC and CLA 45 AMG with a price of 1.45 billion, 1.699 billion and 2.089 billion respectively. (including VAT)
