Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong met voters for National Assembly (NA) deputies in Hanoi’s Ba Dinh and Hoan Kiem districts on May 3 to listen to their opinions prior to the 13th NA’s seventh session.
The voters voiced their concerns regarding to anti-corruption and wastefulness while praising the recent adoption of Resolution on basic and comprehensive renovation of education and training by Party Central Committee.
Learning that an array of legal documents will be adopted at the seventh session to concretise the 2013 Constitution, they suggested that the materials should mirror the real life.
The Party leader welcomed voters’ contributions to economic, political and social issues.
He also acquired their opinions and proposals which will be reviewed and dealt with by the Hanoi ‘s deputies and presented before the law-making body. The Party chief stressed that the National Assembly has made progress in renovating its activities to affirm its role as the highest representative body of the people.
He also noted many things need to be done by the body to realise the 2013 Constitution.
The 13 th NA’s seventh session will take place from May 20 to June 24.-VNA
