The book consists of four parts: the land and people of Thanh Ha; beliefs, belief centers, and folklore activities; literature and arts; and present-day Thanh Ha.
The People’s Committee of Thanh Ha district (Hai Duong) has released 1,000 copies of the book Thanh Ha Land’s Traditional Culture in the forms of presentation and distribution to organizations and individuals.
The 657-page book Thanh Ha Land’s Traditional Culture consists of four parts: the land and people of Thanh Ha; beliefs, belief centers, and folklore activities; literature and arts; and present-day Thanh Ha. This is a precious and rich archive of Thanh Ha district’s folklore.
Under the direction of the Thanh Ha district Party Committee and People’s Committee, the book was compiled by eight authors, all of them are natives of Thanh Ha, namely Nguyen Long Nhiem, Trinh Quang Lac, Tang Ba Hoanh, Le Nghia Diem, Nguyen Ngoc San, Le Dinh Quy, Tran Quoc Viet, and Nguyen Nang Hung.
On the occasion, the Thanh Ha district People’s Committee has awarded certificates of credit to four individuals for their outstanding achievements in compiling the book.
