Marking the 89th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (on June 21), Chief of of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Education and Popularization Dinh The Huynh visited and congratulated Vietnam Press Association, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam Radio, People’s Army Newspaper and other new agencies.

Mr Huynh appreciated great contributions of press agencies in general and reporters, editorial boards in particular in providing hot, new and true information sources to readers.



Press agencies have tried to innovate, improve the quality of information, reporters as well as actively popularized State policies, laws to Vietnamese in the country and Vietnamese community abroad.


In addition, reporters contributed to provide economic, social, cultural, information in the country to international friends, added Huynh.


On the same day, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Le Hoang Quan visited and congratulated Ho Chi Minh City Press Association.


At the meeting, Quan appreciated the important role of the press agencies as well as reporters in popularizing, orienting true information sources to readers like China’s illegal placing the oil rig Haiyang Shiyou-981 inside the exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of Vietnam.


On this occasion, Deputy Chairwoman of HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hong, Deputy Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Hua Ngoc Thuan visited, congratulated press agencies in city on Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
