Thousands of students in the city have sentimetally supported a program helping other poor students with over 10,000 used textbooks.
An annual program was launched by the Department of Education and Training and Dam Sen Park in May, collecting old text book to present students in low income families.
The program aims to teach children compassion and love.
The program has collected over 10,000 used textbooks from grade 1 to grade 12, over 3,800 unused notebooks and more than 50 used electronic pocket calculators.
The program will last until June 8. Students can join to the program by bringing books and gifts to their schools or to Dam Sen Park for entrance tickets.
