Hollywood director Michael Uno will have an exchange with cinematography fans in Ho Chi Minh City at 10:00 am on June 7.
The exchange, held by Saigon International Film School (SIFS), promises to bring local film lovers as well as young filmmakers the chance to learn film direction from a world professional.

Michael Toshiyuki Uno is a Japanese-American film and television director known for directing television shows including Alfred Hitchcock Presents, China Beach, The Outsiders, Early Edition, and Dawson’s Creek.
His work has received high critical acclaim. Uno was nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Live Action Short Film category in 1982 for his film “The Silence,” which depicts American soldiers during the Vietnam War.
In January, Uno also lectured a two-day course at SIFS, providing local filmmakers with basic knowledge and skills in filmmaking.
