The Ministry of Education and Training has promulgated a circular on cultivating teachers of Bana, Ede and Cham ethnic languages.
The circular is a foundation to compile documents to expand teaching of these ethnic languages, inspect the language teaching, and access results of students according to the programme.
The Ministry of Education and Training asked for reduction of lesson time, increase of self-study time and research, promotion of interactive studying and drawing of experience through practical teaching, in order to create conditions for students to be proactive in their studies.
Student results are accessed through major tests, mid-term tests and final tests regulated in the detailed platform. These will be the foundation to grant graduation certificates to teachers of ethnic languages in high educational establishments and continuing education centers.
The circular will be effective from July 15./.
