The exhibits were selected from a national-level campaign on creating placards affirming the country’s sovereignty over sea and islands.

The exhibition also showcases 11 old maps drawn by Vietnam and Western nations and a collection of administrative records under the Nguyen dynasty (1802-1945), which are evidence proving Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagoes.

The event aims to educate the Vietnamese people on the national pride and patriotism. It is expected to help domestic and foreign visitors understand more about the Party and State’s guidelines and the Vietnamese people’s will./.
