On July 21, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam signed Decision 41/2014/QĐ-TTg on preferential policies for students of traditional arts in the colleges offering courses in culture and the arts. As a result of the decision, students who study traditional arts such as Hue traditional music, folklore art performance, Ca Tru and traditional musical instruments in public and non-public culture and arts schools, will be given priority.


These students will benefit from a 70% reduction in course fees.


In addition, each year, each student will be provided two sets of clothes, four pairs of canvas shoes and seven pairs of socks.


The decision will be effective from September 9./.
