PANO – The Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) on July 25th handed over 200 houses to needy households and policy beneficiaries in Lam Dong province.
The activity contributes to the whole community’s efforts to help the needy overcome difficulties and improve their living standards.
The project, launched from later 2013, totally costs VND 10 billion. Of which, the bank finances VND 50 million to each house while the remaining is from the recipients’ families.
Particular in Lam Dong, since 2009, VietinBank has spent VND 15 billion for gratitude programs, including the construction of 229 houses for locals and the procurement of two ambulances for the province’s General Hospital.
