The remaining funds will come from the Vietnamese government (US$52 million) and donations from Japanese enterprises (US$100 million).

The institution is scheduled to enrol 70 students in its first academic year in 2016 and is expected to have trained 6,000 students, including 2,400 postgraduates, by 2025.

In addition to main subjects, it will also offer courses on the Japanese language and culture.
