PANO – The General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army organized a meeting to review the project constructing Truong Son Dong road (Project 46) on August 1st, under the chair of its Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Vo Van Tuan.
The VND 10 trillion project is divided into different bidding packages with a total length of 657km crossing seven Central and Central Highlands provinces. So far, 57 packages (or nearly 469km) were implemented. Among them, around 460km of the road was opened for traffic, while two two-lane service roads, eight bridges and one tunnel will be finished soon.
Concluding the meeting, Lieutenant-General Vo Van Tuan asked relevant units to recommend leaders of the Ministry of National Defence to promptly carry out the remaining bidding packages to complete the road’s construction as scheduled while ensuring its quality.
