Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh – Member of Central Committee of the Communist Party of Council hasreceived and worked with the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) delegation led by Comrade Xaman Vinhaket – former Politburo member and Vietnam (CPV), Secretary of Haiphong’s Party Committee cum Chairman of Haiphong People’s former Head of theSteering Board Committee for Ideology, Theory and Culture (SCITC) of the Laos People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee to visit Haiphong on the occasion of their working visit to Vietnam at the invitation of the Central PartyCommittee.
In the atmosphere of solidarity and friendship, on behalf of the city’s leaders, Secretary of Haiphong’s Party Committee Nguyen Van Thanh congratulated Xaman Vinhaket and members of the delegation on their visit to Haiphong; gave a brief introduction of thecity’ssocio- economic achievements over the past time, especially results of 10-year implementation of the 9th Politburo’s Resolution No.32 on the construction and development of Hai Phong cityin the period of national industrialization and modernization.The Party Secretary expressed his desire to build up closer and deeper relations between the two countries and between Haiphong and Laos localities as well. On behalf of the delegation, Comrade Xaman Vinhaket thanked the warm hospitality of the city’s leaders; expressed his pleasure at the rapid change of Hai Phong. He also desired to promote comprehensive cooperation between Haiphong and Laos localities, making practical contribution to nurturing and developing the traditional relations between Vietnam and Laos. |
